Why this particular cream, right now? 
There has been a definite need amongst my clients to have a much richer moisturizer, something that will quench the thirst of the driest skin, and yes, we always want younger, firmer, more radiant skin. However, it is so difficult in this industry to find ingredients that actually do something more than just hydrate. I wanted something that makes a huge impact. But how does telomerase work? 
In 1995, Scientists discovered that DNA strands had caps at the end, where cells split called Telomeres. Over time, as we age, the scientists noticed that the impetus for unhealthy cells began when caps on the end of the strands of DNA the telomeres began to get shorter.

It is a very complex science that has a lot to do with how cells divide (mitosis), but someone explained it to me like this: imagine that telomeres were like the caps of your shoe laces that had begun to unravel over time. When the caps get shorter, and unravel, you get unhealthy cells. That duplicate. 

The scientists also found that when you added a particular protein called TELOMERASE it lengthens the Telomeres, and binds them back again, and this signifies actual DNA Repair. With healthy telomeres, our cells should begin again acting much healthier, therefore creating youthful looking skin, and prolonging the aging process.
